Abstract

Anemia is a condition in women with hemoglobin levels below 11 g / dL% in trimesters one and three, or levels of hemoglobin values less than 10.5 g / dL% in trimester two. The frequency of pregnant women in Indonesia is high at 63.5%. Anemia in pregnancy can have adverse effect, especially during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. The study was conducted to determine the characteristics of pregnant women on the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at Srikaton Health Center. This type of observational analytic study is a survey method and cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women trimester I, II area Srikaton Health Center in Sub-District of Air Saleh. Techniques used in the selection and III that examined pregnancy in the work of the sample is total sampling, used in Samples numbered 89 people. Instruments form of questionnaires, Easy Touch Hb method (Hb Digital), and KMS women. The pregnant data obtained through interviews, measurements, and secondary data obtained from a general health center and KMS Srikaton pregnant Data processed by Spearman Correlation Statistical test and Binary Logistic Regression Analysis with a degree of significance 0.05. From the result showed the incidence of anemia of pregnant women by 28 people (31.5%) of whom one person on trimester 1,10 people in trimester II people in also no significant relationship between maternal age Cosmos, the incidence of anemia that is equal to p = 0.0420.05 and dan intake of iron tablets p = 0,008 < 0,05.. In addition most of the gestational age to do with the incidence of anemia in pregnant data consists of primary women. and 17 the third trimester. Also found women where the results 0.003 <0.05. To increase weight characteristics, parity, spacing pregnancies, educational level, and frequency of visits Antenatal Care (ANC) is very influential in this study, with each of the value of p = 0.828 p =0729 , p = 0.329 and p = 0.275 (> 0.05). So it can be concluded that based women who are anemic, there is a are p = not p = 0.698, on the characteristics of pregnant strong enough relationship to maternal age of 9 people at age <20 years, 17 people at the age of 20-35 years and 2 men at age> 35 years. As for gestational age, there is a strong relationship with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women with a person I trimester, second trimester 10 people and 17 people in the third trimester. It is recommended to the health center, lowering anemia in order to avoid adverse effects, especially during pregnancy, childbirth, childbirth, and providing information about the importance of maternal health and iron tablets for pregnant women anemia, and pregnant women are expected to maintain a healthy pregnancy and consume foods that contain iron in order not anemic.
