Abstract

ABSTRAK Analisis curah hujan di kota Palembang terhadap indikator yang mempengaruhi (Indeks Nino 3.4) telah berhasil dilakukan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitaif dengan analisis data sekunder berupa data dari stasiun Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika di Stasiun Klimatologi Palembang dari periode 2001-2020. Analisis korelasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan Google Colabs. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan yaitu bahwa Indeks Nino 3.4 memiliki berpengaruh terhadap curah hujan di kota Palembang. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan korelasi tertinggi selama tahun 2001-2020 terjadi pada bulan September sebesar -0.524, bulan Agustus sebesar -0.481 dan bulan Oktober -0.439. Hubungan negatif yang diberikan Indeks Nino 3.4 memilki arti bahwa apabila Indeks Nino 3.4 mengalami kenaikkan maka akan berpengaruh terhadap temperatur maksimal pada suhu permukaan laut sehingga curah hujan akan menurun dan terjadi kemarau.
