Abstract

Latar belakang: Individu yang tergolong remaja cenderung berada dalam keadaan labil dan emosional karena mengalami banyak perubahan-perubahan yang berlangsung cepat salah satunya adalah perubahan fisik. Perubahan fisik menimbulkan dampak psikologis yang tidak diinginkan. Perasaan kurang percaya diri akibat perubahan fisik yang dimiliki remaja menimbulkan kemungkinan untuk remaja akhir mengalami gangguan perilaku makan seperti Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN) dan Binge-Eating Disorder. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran perilaku makan pada Mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya Angkatan 2020 dan 2021. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif observasional pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya Angkatan 2020 dan 2021 yang bersedia menjadi subjek penelitian dan termasuk dalam kriteria inklusi. Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26) versi bahasa Indonesia. Hasil: Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil berupa mayoritas gejala perilaku makan abnormal terjadi pada mahasiswa usia 21 tahun, perempuan, berasal dari Luar Kota Palembang, nilai akademik (IPK) 2,51–3,00, memiliki riwayat gangguan jiwa, memiliki riwayat keluarga, bertubuh gemuk, tidak tinggal dengan keluarga, dan angkatan 2021. Kesimpulan: Gangguan Perilaku Makan Abnormal pada mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya didapatkan hasil sebesar 32 mahasiswa (13,2%) Introduction: Teenagers tend to have unstable emotional state because they experience many rapid changes, one of which is physical changes. Physical changes may cause unwanted psychological impacts. Feelings of insecurity due to physical changes in adolescents raise the possibility for late adolescents to experience eating disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN) and Binge-Eating Disorder. This study aimed to describe eating disorder behavior in students of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University, class of 2020 and 2021. Methods: This study used a descriptive observational research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University, Class of 2020 and 2021 who were willing to participate and were included in the inclusion criteria. Data was collected using the Indonesian version of Eating-Attitudes Test (EAT-26) questionnaire. Results: This study found that the majority of symptoms of abnormal eating behavior occurred in students aged 21 years, female, coming from outside the city of Palembang, academic grades (GPA) 2.51–3.00, having a history of mental disorders, having a family history, being overweight, not living with family, and class of 2021. Conclusion: The number of student with abnormal Eating Behavior Disorders was 32 students (13.2%)
