Abstract

Background: Every citizen needs access to health protection in order for their basic needs to be met. In early 2014, the government began implementing the JKN program with the aim of making all Indonesians part of the JKN community, as a demonstration of universal health insurance or Unit Coverage Health (UHC). The attitude of human or community behavior to participate in JKN can be influenced by 3 main factors, namely predisposition, enabling, and reinforcing factors. The scope of these factors includes knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, values, perceptions, resources, accessibility to services, funds, family behavior, health workers, relatives, etc. Due to time, place, and cost limitations. Then the variables that will be studied in this study include 3 aspects of these factors. These variables are respondents' characteristics, knowledge, health care, contribution rates, income levels, and family support. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the factors related to JKN's participation in the community who visit the Palembang City Development Center in 2022. Method: This type of research is observational analytical research with a cross sectional design. The sample in this study was people who visited the Pembina health center who met the inclusion criteria. The sample in this study was 135 people with purposive sampling techniques. Results: There is a significant relationship between Income level and there is no significant relationship between respondents' characteristics respondents' characteristic factors (Age, Gender, Education and Employment), knowledge factors, contribution rates, health services, and family support for JKN's participation in the Palembang City Development Center. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the factors related to JKN participation in the Community Visiting the Puskesmas Pembina are the Income Level Factor Keywords: National Health Insurance, BPJS, Participation, Puskesmas.
