Abstract
This study aims to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of the cube and block nets material through the peer tutoring method of grade VA students at SD Negeri 231 Palembang. This research is a classroom action research which consists of 3 (three) cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 (four) stages. Data on students' abilities in cube and block netting material were collected using an observation sheet consisting of two basic sub competencies and divided into four indicators. The results of the analysis show that the peer tutor method can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VA SD Negeri 231 Palembang students in the material of cube nets and blocks. The increase in learning outcomes from cycle I was 58% to cycle II by 73% and success in cycle III was 88%. Thus, through the peer tutoring method, it can improve learning outcomes for learning mathematics in cube and block nets material for grade VA students at SD Negeri 231 Palembang for the 2020/2021 academic year.
