Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial terhadap penyesuaian sosial remaja tunarungu wicara di SLB-B Negeri Pembina Palembang. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial terhadap penyesuaian sosial remaja tunarungu wicara di SLB-B Negeri Pembina Palembang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja tunarungu wicara di SLB-B Negeri Pembina Palembang sebanyak 45 orang. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, penyebaran skala penyesuaian sosial dan skala dukungan sosial. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil analisis data penelitian dengan teknik regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara penyesuaian sosial dengan dukungan sosial pada remaja tunarungu wicara di SLB-B Negeri Pembina Palembang dengan R sebesar 0,663 dan p =0,000 (p <0.005). Dengan demikian hipotesis diterima. Kata Kunci: Dukungan Sosial, Penyesuaian Sosial, Remaja Tunarungu Wicara
