Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh regulasi diri dalam belajar terhadap adiksi media sosial pada siswa SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Palembang dan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 67 responden dari 335 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Palembang yang dipilih dengan teknik random sampling. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan skala psikologis dengan menggunakan skala likert yang terdiri dari skala psikologis regulasi diri dalam belajar sejumlah 29 item pertanyaan dan skala psikologis adiksi media sosial sejumlah 22 item pertanyaan yang disebarkan secara langsung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahwa regulasi diri dalam belajar pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Palembang menunjukan dominan berada di kategori sedang dengan persentase 66% dan adiksi media sosial pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Palembang dapat dilihat bahwa siswa dominan berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase 73%. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa setelah melakukan analisis regresi linear sederhana dapat diketahui bahwa nilai f hitung 70.571 dengan tingkat signifikan sebesar 0,000 < 0.05 maka dapat diartikan bahwa model regresi yang dipakai untuk memprediksi variabel X, dengan kata lain ada pengaruh regulasi diri dalam belajar (X) terhadap adiksi media sosial (Y). dan setelah melakukan uji koefisien determinasi didapatkan hasil bahwa nilai R atau nilai korelasinya adalah 0,721 dan dari tabel tersebut juga diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) yaitu sebesar 0,521 atau 52,1% ini dapat diartikan bahwa pengaruh regulasi diri dalam belajar (X) terhadap adiksi media sosial (Y) adalah sebesar 52,1 % dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Adiksi Media Sosial This quantitative research aims to determine whether there is an effect of self�regulation in learning on social media addiction in SMA Negeri 4 Palembang students. The population in this study was class XI SMA Negeri 4 Palembang and the samples in this study were 67 respondents from 335 students of class XI SMA Negeri 4 Palembang who were selected by random sampling technique. The data collection tool used is a psychological scale using a Likert scale which consists of a psychological scale of self-regulation in learning with a total of 29 question items and a psychological scale of social media addiction with a total of 22 question items which are distributed directly. The results of this study indicate that self-regulation in learning in class XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Palembang shows that the dominance is in the medium category with a percentage of 66% and social media addiction in class XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Palembang can be seen that the dominant students are in the medium category with percentage 73%. From the results of the research and discussion of the research, it can be concluded that after carrying out a simple linear regression analysis, it can be seen that the calculated f value is 70,571 with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05, which means that the regression model is used to predict variable X, in other words, there is an effect of self-regulation. in learning (X) to social media addiction (Y). and after carrying out the determination coefficient test, it was found that the R value or correlation value was 0.721 and from the table it was also obtained that the coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.521 or 52.1%. This could mean that the effect of self-regulation in learning (X) on social media addiction (Y) is 52.1% and the rest is influenced by other factors. Keywords: Self Regulated Learning.
