Abstract

Efikasi diri multikultural sangat penting untuk mengembangkan kompetensi multikultural, dan guru bimbingan dan konseling bertanggung jawab untuk membantu siswa mengembangkan efikasi ini melalui berbagai teknik, termasuk penggunaan kasus. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak pemanfaatan kasus dalam layanan dasar bimbingan dan konseling terhadap efikasi diri komunikasi antarbudaya siswa di SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian pra-eksperimen pretest-posttest satu kelompok. Desain ini digunakan untuk meneliti bagaimana kasus yang digunakan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan untuk mendapatkan hasil perlakuan yang lebih tepat. Siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 4 Palembang menjadi populasi penelitian, dan teknik pemilihan purposive digunakan untuk memilih sampel penelitian. Kuesioner skala efikasi diri komunikasi multikultural digunakan sebagai alat penelitian. Uji-t kelompok berpasangan digunakan dalam analisis data penelitian ini untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil analisis data mengungkapkan hubungan yang menguntungkan antara pemanfaatan kasus dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling dasar dan efikasi diri komunikasi antarbudaya. N-Gain yang moderat juga diberikan melalui pemanfaatan kasus. Penyelidikan lebih lanjut mengungkapkan bahwa siswa laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki tingkat efikasi diri komunikasi multikultural yang agak berbeda. Kata kunci: layanan dasar bimbingan dan konseling, efikasi diri dalam komunikasi, dan siswa sekolah menengah atas dasar   Multicultural self-efficacy is essential for developing multicultural competence, and guidance and counseling teachers are responsible for helping students develop this efficacy through various techniques, including the use of cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of case utilization in basic guidance and counseling services on students' intercultural communication self-efficacy at SMA Negeri 4 Palembang. This study used a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experiment research design. This design is used to examine how cases are used before and after treatment to get more precise treatment results. Grade X students at SMA Negeri 4 Palembang became the research population, and purposive selection technique was used to select the research sample. Multicultural communication self-efficacy scale questionnaire was used as a research tool. Paired group t-test was used in the data analysis of this study to test the research hypothesis. The results of data analysis revealed a favorable relationship between case utilization in basic guidance and counseling services and intercultural communication self-efficacy. A moderate N-Gain was also provided through case utilization. Further investigation revealed that male and female students had somewhat different levels of multicultural communication self-efficacy.
