Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu pada perkembangan embrio ikan tambakan. Penelitian ini Pembenihan Rakyat Batanghari Sembilan Indralaya dan Laboratorium Dasar Perikanan pada bulan Januari 2013. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan lima perlakuan suhu inkubasi yang berbeda yaitu 26 ± 0,5 °C, 28 ± dilaksanakan di Unit 0,5 °C, 30 ± 0,5 °C, 32 ± 0,5 °C, dan 34 ± 0,5 °C dengan jumlah ulangan sebanyak tiga kali. Parameter yang diamati adalah perkembangan embrio, derajat penetasan, abnormalitas, kelangsungan hidup pro larva, pertumbuhan larva pro, dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perkembangan embrio tercepat pada suhu inkubasi 34°C. Suhu inkubasi masing-masing perlakuan berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan embrio ikan tambakan.
