Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru matematika Program studi Pendidikan Matematika, Universitas Sriwijaya. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa calon guru matematika dalam memecahkan masalah permutasi dan kombinasi. Indikator yang digunakan dalam penelitian tersebut adalah, 1) Mengidentifikasi Masalah, 2) Menyajikan pernyataan secara lisan, gambar, tulisan ataupun diagram, 3) Melakukan manipulasi matematika, 4) Memberikan bukti terhadap kebenaran solusi secara sistematis. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes tertulis berupa post-test, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa calon guru matematika berada pada kategori baik dengan rata-rata 79,2.berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini juga kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa calon guru matematika berada pada level 3, yaitu manipulasi matematika dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 45%.
