Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the form of sarcasm style on the Pembasmi Kehaluan Real Instagram account and its implications for learning Indonesian. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data sources for this research are the Pembasmi Kehaluan Real Instagram accounts for the August and September 2022 editions. The theory used in this study uses Elizabeth Camp's theory, which was quoted by Dinari. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the types of sarcasm style found were 17 comments on sarcasm, 19 comments on characteristic sarcasm, 6 comments on lexical sarcasm, 11 comments on like prefixed sarcasm, and The style of illocutionary sarcasm is 7 comments, with a total of 60 comments containing sarcasm style found in the comments column of the Instagram account @pembasmi.kehaluan.reall.
