Abstract

PT XYZ is one of the companies engaged in the mining of non-metallic minerals such as kaolin. The company plans to produce kaolin by implementing an open pit mining system and using the backfilling mining method with technical plans for land use reclamation, revegetation and final settlement. The costs required for the reclamation activities of the production operation stage with a total area of 0.2 ha consist of direct costs of Rp.19,959,834 and indirect costs of Rp.6.668,554. The total cost of reclamation for the production operation stage is Rp. 26,628,378. The planned reclamation activity for the production operation stage to be carried out at PT XYZ can be planned in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Energy, Mineral Resources and Energy No. 1827 of 2018 although the amount of top soil is reduced as a result of degraded land.
