Abstract

Endophytic microbes are microorganisms found in plants. Endophytic strains are found in various plant parts including roots, leaves, stems, flowers and seeds. Ceratocystis is a pathogen that attacks various types of plants, such as Acacia mangium, Acacia crassicarpa, and lansium domesticum. Control of this disease by using endophytic microbial exploration to stimulate growth and development of plants that are not normal and are under pressure from herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and salinity. This research was conducted from June 2022 to December 2022. A survey was conducted in four districts in South Sumatra, namely Ogan Ilir Regency, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, Musi Banyuasin Regency, and Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Sampling was carried out using the method (purposive random sampling). Isolation was carried out in the Phytopathology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The study used a completely randomized design (RAL) with 3 replications. The results of this study show that each isolate has different morphological characteristics in each district, namely Ogan Ilir is round with raised edges, Ogan Komering Ilir is irregular, Musi Banyuasin Regency is round, Ogan Komering Ulu is round with spreading edges. The results of the inhibition test showed that isolates in Ogan Komering Ilir district had the lowest inhibition level with a value of 0.70 a and isolates in Musi Banyuasin district had the highest inhibition level with a value of 1.46 f.
