Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Toddler Family Development (BKB) cadres in an effort to foster family welfare in the Layang-Layang Ilir Barat II Village, Palembang City. This research uses a qualitative descrptive research type. Data collection a carried out using intervies, observation, and documentation methods ith the subject of the head of the KB village, the head of the BKB program, cadres, and participants. The results obtained in this study are: 1) the role of the Toddler Family Development (BKB) cadre in the Layang-Layang KB village in carrying out their duties and roles is in acordance with existing procedures and what the cadres do is to provide counseling. Some things that cadres do in ounseling are providing information, instilling confidence and increasing knowlade, skills, and attitudes as well as extrinsic and intrinsic factors. 2) cadres have provided appropriate and good solutions to Toddler Family Developments. To provides solutions, adres begin to recognize problems, find facts, analyze background, and consider solutions properly.
