Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbantuan LKPD pada pelajaran IPA materi getaran gelombang dan bunyi kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya. LKPD yang digunakan merupakan LKPD yang telah dikembangkan dan sudah teruji kevalidtannya dan reliabelnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimen Designs dengan rancangan penelitian One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 peserta didik pada kelas VIII.3 di SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik dan observasi untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran guided inquiry. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh rata-rata pretest 44,78 dan posttest 72,09 dengan peningkatan hasil belajar (gain) rata-rata sebesar 27,31 dan gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,494 (kategori sedang). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbantuan LKPD efektif diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran di SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya. Sedangkan rata-rata persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 87,45%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan LKPD berbasis guided inquiry ini terlaksana dengan baik.
