Abstract

This study aimed to decribe the independent variables Deb to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) is partially significant effect or not on the dependent variable Return on Equity (ROE) on a sub company of the automotive sector and product components in the Indonesia Stock Exchange ( BEI). The data used in this study is the annual data 2012-2016 period. The population in this study is 42 companies , the research sample was selected using purposive sampling of 42 automotive companies Sub-sector. l6 companies were selected as the sample. Data analysis technique used is to use quantitative data. The method of analysis wing a model of Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Regression Analysis and Testing Hypotheses. Based on the hypothesis obtained is partially Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) no significant effect on return on equity (ROE). However. partially Debt to equity ratio (DER) has a negative and significant impact on Return On Equity (ROE).
