Abstract

Tuiuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) menganalisis pengolahan beras asalan meniadi beras bermerk dan saluran pemasaran beras bermerk pada Pabrik Upang Jaya. 2) menghitung capaian kapasitas pabrik Upang Jaya berdasarkan volume beras, dan 3) menghitung ketersediaan bahan baku ekonomis yang dimiliki oleh Pabrik Upang Jaya. Penelitian data dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Juni, di Pabrik (penggilingan beras) Upang Jaya Desa Pegayut Kecamatan Pemulutan Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Dengan menggunakan Metode Kasus. Metode pengambilan contoh yaitu dengan menggunakan metode Purposive. jumlah populasi yaitu 9 pabrik beras. Beras asalan diolah melalui mesin pabrik beras sehingga menghasilkan beras bermerk yaitu Topi Koki. BPS. A3. Ariuna. Ikan Belida. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pabrik Upang Jaya memperoleh bahan baku dari pedagang beras yaitu Ogan Komering Ilir. Ogan Komering Ulu. Musi Banyuasin dan Ogan Komering Ulu Timur dengan kapasitas terpasang Pabrik Upang Jaya adalah 120 ton per jam menghasilkan produksi optimum sebesar 3.120 ton beras. Berdasarkan pemesanan ekonomis (Economic Order Ouantitv = EOO) bahwa Pabrik Upang Jaya dapat memesan beras asalan sebanyak 10.626.78 kg dengan tingkat pemakaian per hari sebanyak 69.863 kg.
