Abstract

Ansietas merupakan masalah yang sering pada pasien gagal ginjal kronis yang menjalani hemodialisa. Perubahan gaya hidup, prosedur dan biaya menjadi berbagai faktor yang menyebabkan ansietas pada pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengurangi ansietas pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisa dengan memebrikan terapi relaksasi benson. Metode penlitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang menjalani hemodialisa. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa pasien pada umumnya memiliki masalah keperawatan yang sama yaitu pola napas tidak efektif, hypervolemia dan ansitetas. Setelah diberikan implementasi keperawatan berupa teknik relaksasi benson didaptkan hasil bahwa dari ketiga pasien mengatakan bahwa dengan relaksasi dapat membantu mengurangi keluhan sulit bernapas serta menjadi lebih tenang dan rileks. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini terapi relaksasi benson dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai tatalaksana nonfarmakologis pasien ansietas yang sedang menjalani hemodialisa.
