Abstract

Ketaktentuan data yang selalu ada menyebabkan perlunya analisis stokastik dalam analisis sumber daya air. Proses analisis ini perlu untuk membangkitkan suatu rangkaian data yang mempunyai karakteristik yang mirip dengan data historis/pencatatan. Data seperti ini diperlukan karena data historis yang ada disamping kurang panjang juga kemungkinan untuk terjadi kembali sangat kecil. Rangkaian data hasil analisis tersebut dianggap sebagai salah satu kemungkinan realisasi data yang sifat statistiknya mirip dengan data historis. Hal ini diperlukan untuk mengetahui respon sistem terhadap suatu rangkaian data yang lain tapi mempunyai karakteristik yang mirip dengan data historis. Dengan demikian penggunaan dan pengelolaan air di masa yang akan datang dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Kata kunci :pasang surut, metode arma, sumber daya air
