Abstract

BPTH is the technical implementing unit of the Directorate General of Coastal and Protected Forest Management with the main duty to implement the plan, to perform seed and seedling certification and accreditation, management of seed sources, monitoring the distribution and distribution of seeds and seeds of forest plants, presenting seed information and breeding. The purpose of this research is to know the efficiency of making seed of bambang lanang in both Nursery Permanent (PP), namely PP Sukomoro and PP Selangit at the Office of Plant Seed Hatchery (BPTH) Region I Palembang in terms of production cost from seed to seed ready to plant. This research uses qualitative analysis. The results showed that in terms of budget cost of making seeds bambang lanang in both permanent nurseries can be said to be efficient. This can be seen from the percentage done by using two methods, namely the method of budget use and standard usage methods.
