Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Menganalisis perbedaan pendapatan buruh sebelum dan selama bekerja di kawasan HTI PT Sebangun Bumi Andalas (SBA) Wood Industries di Kecamatan Tulung Selapan Ogan Komering Ilir, (2) Membandingkan pendapatan yang diperoleh Buruh sebelum dan selama bekerja di kawasan HTI PT Sebangun Bumi Andalas (SBA) Wood Industries dengan Kebutuhan Hidup Layak (KHL) Pengambilan data dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Mei 2012, di Desa Simpang Tiga Sakti Kecamatan Tulung Selapan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir dengan menggunakan Metode Survei. Metode pengambilan contoh yaitu dengan menggunakan metode Sensus, jumlah populasi yaitu 24 buruh contoh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan tingkat pendapatan yang diperoleh sebelum dan selama bekeija di Hutan Tanaman Industri. Total pendapatan sebelum menjadi buruh yaitu sebesar Rp 13.187.548,61 sedangkan total pendapatan yang diperoleh buruh selama menjadi buruh yaitu sebesar Rp 22.014.479,17 per tahun, selisih pendapatan yang diperoleh buruh yaitu sebesar Rp 8.826.930,56. Pendapatan yang diperoleh sebelum dan selama menjadi buruh belum memenuhi kebutuhan hidup layak lajang maupun kebutuhan hidup layak keluarga
