Abstract

Gempa bumi merupakan salah satu jenis bencana alam di Indonesia dan di dunia. Beberapa tahun belakangan, gempa bumi di Indonesia lebih sering terjadi. Gempa bumi tidak hanya terjadi di wilayah rawan gempa, tetapi juga terjadi di wilayah tidak rawan gempa. Pada tanggal 9 September 2008, terjadi gempa bumi berkekuatan 5,6 SR mengakibatkan beberapa rumah-rumah penduduk di Kecamatan Jarai dan Muara Payang mengalami kerusakan. Oleh karena itu dilakukan identifikasi terhadap rumah-rumah penduduk baik yang mengalami kerusakan dan yang tidak mengalami kerusakan. Identifikasi dilakukan pada rumah tipe permanen dan rumah tipe tradisional. Identifikasi rumah penduduk dilakukan secara menyeluruh & mendetail dan ditinjau dari pondasi, rangka balok kolom, dinding, dan rangka atap. Proses identifikasi dilakukan tanggal 16 Juni 2009 sampai 20 Juni 2009. Selain identifikasi, pengumpulan data juga menggunakan form berisi persyaratan rumah tahan gempa. Pengolahan data hasil form menggunakan program SPSSfor Windows versi 15. Dari model yang didapat dari program SPSS for Windows versi 15, rangka balok kolom dan dinding sangat mempengaruhi tingkat kerentanan rumah terhadap pengaruh bahaya gempa bumi untuk rumah tipe permanen. Semakin rendah kualitas rangka balok kolom dan dinding dari suatu rumah, maka peluang kerentanan akan semakin besar. Sedangkan untuk rumah tipe tradisional, denah bangunan dan pondasi sangat menentukan tingkat kerawanan. Kata kunci : Gempa bumi, proses identifikasi, bangunan dan pondasi
