Abstract

This study aims to describe rejection sensitivity among users of online dating applications. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a description of rejection sensitivity among users of online dating applications. The Participants in this study were 311 individuals with the criteria of being users of online dating applications throughout Indonesia. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is the rejection sensitivity scale which refers to an aspect of Downey & Feldman (1996). The result of the study showed that rejection sensitivity among users of online dating applications was in the medium category, and there were differences in rejection sensitivity among users of online dating applications based on age and frequency of experiencing rejection in romantic relationships.
