Abstract

The phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred in the world has had a major impact on the State of Indonesia. With the existence of the Covid-19 virus which has resulted in paralysis in every line of life, this requires the government to make changes to the budget for the purpose of stopping the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. The Tegal Rejo Village Government was required to make changes to the budget, this budget change was made three times. Budget Therefore, it is necessary to do research to find out the process of changing the budget that was carried out. This type of research uses qualitative research methods. Researchers conducted interviews with several informants in the Village Office to find out the process of changing the budget. In this study it was discovered that the process of changing the budget at the Tegal Rejo Village Office began with a Minister of Finance Regulation and a deliberation was held with the Village Consultative Body to submit proposals. The results of this study recommend that in the process of preparing changes to the budget, it is always carried out in accordance with the principles of an efficient and effective budget.
