Abstract

This this study aims to describe how family care in developing mental spirituality elementary school age children in Prabumenang Village Muara Enim Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study,the population is 116 families with a sample of 35 people. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, then reinforced by observation techniques and documentation. The measurement of parenting was done through descriptive statistical analysis with scoring and categorozation. The results of the study showed that in parenting the family ini developing the spiritual mentality of elementary school age children from the indecators led, cared for and guided that 34 respondents were in the good category. The conclusion of this study is that family parenting in children is very influential on the mental and spiritual development of children. Suggestions are expected to correct the shortcomigs of the result of this study.
