Abstract

The aim of this experimental study was to investigate the effect of creative and productive learning to students economics achievement. This study used pre-experimental design with one group pretest and posttest. The population was all students in the total by using the purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by using test and observation. The result of the t-test showed that tobtained = 18,94 ≥ ttable = 1,88, therefore Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Ha meant that there was significant effect of creative and productive learning to students economics achievement of SMA N 1 South Indralaya. Futhermore, it was suggested that the economics teachers using this creative dan productive learning should guide and train the students to develop the concept they have learnt and at the end of the class, the teachers should also give achievement such as compliment or applause to students to gain their motivation and confidence.
