Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the ability of grade V students of SDN 02 Indralaya Utara in writing pantun in terms of pantun requirements. This type of research is qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of tests and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the ability of students in writing pantun in terms of pantun requirements in the aspect of taxation is classified as good with an average value of 81.5, in the aspect of the number of lines is classified as very good with an average value of 100, in the aspect of the number of syllables is classified as good with an average value of 82.6 and in the aspect of the cover and content is classified as sufficient with an average value of 72.8. Overall, the ability of grade V students of SDN 02 Indralaya Utara in writing pantun in terms of pantun requirements is classified as good with an average score of 84.23. Of the 23 learners, 11 learners have very good abilities with scores of 93.75 to 100, 6 learners have good abilities with scores of 81.25 to 87.5, 1 learner has sufficient ability with a score of 75 and 5 other learners still need guidance with scores of 56.25 to 68.75.
