Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of student participation in organizations on student learning achievement in the economic education study program at Sriwijaya University. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were Economic Education students at Sriwijaya University in the 2020-2021 academic year, totaling 150 students. The sample data collection technique used was purposive sampling so that the samples in this study were Sriwijaya University Economic Education students and active students in organizations totaling 64 students. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The hypothesis uses parametric statistics, namely the t test, based on the results of the t test, the value of t count> t table is 3.111> 1.670 with a significance level of 0.05, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of student participation in organizations on the learning achievement of students of the economic education study program at Sriwijaya University. It is suggested that students are expected to hone their potential in order to achieve results and potential in accordance with what is expected, both academic and non-academic.
