Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of the needs analysis of class III students at SD Negeri 02 North Indralaya in subtheme 1 characteristics of living things for e-books assisted by the Canva application, describe the results of media development, as well as describe the results of feasibility tests and practical test results of the media that have been developed. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE research and development model which has 5 stages including: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation . Based on the research objectives, the researcher only carried out the ADDIE development research model up to the Implementation stage. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Researchers validated 3 experts (material experts, media experts, and learning practitioner experts) and conducted trials on Class III students. The results of material expert validation obtained a percentage of 93.75%, including the very valid category, media expert validation obtained a percentage of 97.5%, including the very valid category, and learning practitioner expert validation obtained a percentage of 95.90%, including the very valid category. The first trial carried out was a small group trial which obtained a percentage of 98.5% which was included in the very valid category. The second trial, namely the large group trial, obtained a percentage of 95.6% which was included in the very valid category. The research results obtained provide the conclusion that the e-book assisted by the Canva application developed is feasible and practical for use in the learning process.
