Abstract

The increasing demand for electrical energy drives efforts to optimize solar energy utilization. This study examines the effect of galvalume reflector tilt angles on the performance of a 10 WP polycrystalline solar panel. Galvalume was selected due to its high reflectivity, wide availability, and common use as a roofing material. The reflector is used to enhance solar radiation absorption without adding extra components, supporting the implementation of rooftop PV systems. Tests were conducted at tilt angles of 45° and 60°, and compared to a setup without a reflector. Results showed that the panel produced a maximum power of 7.485 W without a reflector, 8.453 W with a 45° reflector, and 8.976 W with a 60° reflector. These findings indicate that the galvalume reflector significantly improves solar panel output, with the 60° angle providing the most optimal performance.
