Abstract

Reservoirs containing hydrocarbons become targets will be identified by the method of AVO (Amplitude versus Offset) and inversion LMR (Lambda-Mu-Rho). The target zones are on the formation of Ngrayong especially for the Southeast region of Madura, which was filled by Sandstone mixed with clays. This target has been determined based on the analysis of log data that has a correlation between one another. In this study, the data used is a 2-D seismic data in the form of CDP gather. It was first used for the analysis of AVO method to determine the value of intercept and gradient yielded values of both multiplication or Product. This attribute is useful for describing the spread of reservoirs containing hydrocarbons because these attributes using data angle stack from different angle variations. Subsequent analysis using simultaneous inversion based on the angular variation of angle seismic waves using a wavelet have been extracted from the seismic data. For inversion LMR, use the parameter P-impedance, Simpedance and density to determine fhe nature of the rock in the form of rigidity and incompressibility so that this parameter can specify the spread of lithology and identification of fluid on the formation of the Ngrayong basin, East Java. The results of this research describes a layer of hydrocarbon on the zone around tbe formation Ngrayong.
