Abstract

Global Radio 101.0 FM Palembang is a radio station that implements the search for the best radio announcer through the selection process. The selection process has several criteria, namely, age, education, language acquisition, music knowledge, experience, appearance and creativity. However, the process has not been computerized, which caused Global Radio to experience difficulties in managing participant administration data and processing participant values. So that the selection of radio broadcasters is inefficient and less than optimal. From this, Global Radio needs a computerized and automated system for managing participant values and data in order to optimize the selection process of the radio announcer. The right solution to overcome this is to develop a Decision Support System for the selection of good and efficient radio broadcasters using the SMART method because this method is a method of problem solving and multi-criteria analysis, giving flexible and simple weights. Then the results of these calculations will provide solutions to some of the best alternatives based on the ranking of the participants.
