Abstract

One of the developments in computers is Artificial Intelligence, which is part of computer science. Artificial intelligence is one part of computer science that makes machines (computers) can do jobs like and as well as those done by humans. Expert system is a computer system designed to be able to do reasoning like an expert in a particular field of expertise. And but this expert system is only intended as limited equipment and tools, because this expert system is only consulate and not like a specialist who can identify a particular disease with a thought. Therefore, this study aims to make the system for the ideal body based on calorie calculation using the Harris Benedict formula and the Forward Chaining method. Where this system will facilitate and assist users in calculating calorie needs for health. The method used in this system process refers to the Spiral Model and the 5W + 1H and SOAR needs analysis tools, as well as the UML 2.0 diagram at the planning stage, and the CodeIgniter framework. For the testing phase using the Black Box testing method. The results obtained from this study are ideal body expert systems using a website-based forward chaining method.
