Abstract

This research is intended to determine the amount of electricity used every day. This IoT-based electrical energy monitoring tool uses ESP32 microcontroller and PZEM-004T sensor. The PZEM-004T sensor is a sensor designed to read the amount of electrical energy usage such as voltage, current, power, and energy. This monitoring tool is also connected to smartphones by using the blynk application which is used as a media interface that displays the amount of electricity used. The test results show that the electricity energy monitoring tool using the PZEM-004T sensor can measure and display current, voltage, power and energy values and also can monitor it in real time. The results of the this system has a error rate under 5%.
