Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujun untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan Gadget pada Mahasiswa Bimbingan konseling Universitas Sriwijaya. Populasi terdiri dari 78 Mahasiswa dari angkatan 2017 palembang dan indralaya dengen metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seluruh subjek menggunakan Gadget yang terdiri dari smartphone, laptop/notebook, dan tablet, pemanfaatan aplikasi dan media browsing dapat membantu penggunanya, Gadget menghasilkan dampak positif sebagai media infirmasi dan negatif bagi penggunanya sebagai gangguan penggunaan Gadget secara fisik dan fisikis.
