Abstract

Palembang has experienced many developments, especially in the economic field, especially in the trade and services sector. Growth in this field has also led to an increase in office needs, especially office space for carrying out business activities in a company. In fact there are no office facilities that can accommodate office activities in Palembang. Most residents prefer shophouses as office space. For this reason, this office park is needed to accommodate office needs in the city of Palembang. In constructing office buildings, it is necessary to pay attention to the process or stage of development so as not to cause negative impacts on the surrounding environment. It is known that offices have a fairly high level of energy consumption and can result in environmental damage and also exacerbate the effects of global warming. For this reason, office concepts are needed that can reduce energy use on a large scale and reduce air pollution. Based on these considerations, the application of the concept of energy-efficient buildings was chosen at the Palembang office park to realize energy-efficient offices.
