Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui tingkat imbangan suplementasi SCH dan protein dengan pakan basal amoniasi bertingkat TMF terhadap kecernaan nutrisi kerbau secara in vitro. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November sampai dengan Desember 2019 di Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Program Studi Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Sriwijaya. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan imbangan SCH dan protein ditambahkan pada ransum basal Amoniasi bertingkat TMF. P1 : Tanpa Suplementasi, P2 : 600g SCH dan 300g protein (2:1), P3 : 900g SCH dan 300g protein (3:1). Parameter yang diamati adalah kecernaan bahan kering, Kecernaan Bahan Organik, dan kecernaan protein kasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa imbangan SCH dan protein dalam ransum basal amoniasi bertingkat TMF berpengaruh nyata (P<0.05) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering, kecernaan bahan organik dan kecernaan protein kasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa imbangan SCH dan protein yang tepat dalam ransum basal amoniasi bertingkat TMF adalah 3:1 dengan 900 gr SCH : 300 gr Protein, mampu meningkatkan kecernaan nutrisi ternak kerbau. Nilai kecernaan nutrisi amoniasi bertingkat TMF yang diperoleh dari perbandingan suplementasi SCH dan Protein 3:1 yaitu kecernaan bahan kering 88,13%, kecernaan bahan organik 86,80%, Kecernaan protein kasar 45,90%
