Abstract

An IoT (Internet Of Things) based flood information system has been designed using fuzzy logica control. The system is designed to know the height and speed of water flow in the dam to know when the flood will come. When the water level in the reservoir is detected that exceeds the target limit, the ultrasonic sensor will send the height volume data that the water reaches a dangerous condition and the waterflow sensor works as a detector for the water flow velocity in the reservoir. The system works automatically in adjusting the height and speed of the water. Arduino microcontroller is used to generate data using fuzzy logic based on errors. This final project uses the Sugeno fuzzy method to determine the water level and water flow velocity in the reservoir. These results can be monitored and controlled remotely by using the Internet of Things on the Thingspeak web server
