Abstract

The evaluation of the quality of departments could be observed through several dimensions. Each dimension consists of three main aspects, i.e. input, process, and output. The input aspect is indicated through the curriculum, human resources, facilities, and students. Whereas, the process and output are indicated through the direct activities related to the application, the result, and the proponent of the three responsibilities of institute of higher education, i.e. research, teaching, and social Service. STIE Lembah Dempo has achieved the institution accreditation certificate. However, there is no good objectivity found in the evaluation of lecturer’s quality toward the application of the three responsibilities of institution. Hence, the problem of this study is to find out how the system of the quality evaluation applies the three responsibilities of institution at STIE Lembah Dempo Pagaralam. Moreover, the accreditation of Standard of institution could be achieved and well-improved. In this study, the writer describes job of the three responsibilities of institution, i.e. research., teaching, and social Service. Furthermore, a system of the evaluation of the lecturer’s quality which applies the three responsibilities of institution could be constructed. This study will hopefully be practically useful in providing the ideas and information needed by everyone, especially the management of every institution. While, the advantages of the study itself is to share the information about quality evaluation to people who wants to develop their human resource knowledge.
