Abstract

Human as the important resources, has important role in operate organization ’s activity to develop U organization. To keep and maintain worker is very important, so that the worker can give the best performance. Control also needed for keep each employee 's do the task in good and discipline. The are many way which can be used leader for give motivation to the employee 's, so that they want to employee 's in discipline. Giving the reward can become one of many alternative for make employee 's be antusiated in work. High spirit can compose work discipline in all employee, so the goal which expected by them office. This research w as held in Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Muara Enim. This research use Compensation as Independent Variable, Motivation as Intervening Variable, and Discipline as Dependent Variable. The goal of this research is to analysis compensation 's influence to employee 's discipline through motivation as intervening variable. Sample that used in this research are 53 Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Muara Enim employees with using stratified random sampling method. Analysis that used in this research are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, model test, and regression. Those data that had been processed with SPSS for Windows release 11.5 produce regression equation below : Y = 0,500X, Y =0.557 Xi + 0.064 X2 From regression analyze, we can get stronger correlation value if the compensation is connected not direct go through motivation with discipline. So the conclusion is motivation can intervening between compensation to discipline. Besides, the calculation to pass F- test an t test, also indicate there are positive and significant influence conduct variable.
