Abstract

Internet users in the current era have increased by 15.5 percent compared to last year. In this case, this year the Covid-19 virus is happening which results in all work being carried out at home online and an internet connection is needed by most people, both from students, students and other employees. Based on the results of interviews that have been carried out by the author with 44 respondents who have used internet packages before, it was found that many users chose the wrong internet package because the usage time did not match the purchase target. Therefore, users have difficulty making decisions in the selection of internet service packages. From these problems, it is necessary to build a decision support system for choosing internet service packages by applying the SAW method in this study. The Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is a method that can determine the weight value for each attribute, and is followed by a ranking process that will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives. So that the final result is the best alternative from the provider ranking process.
