Abstract

This research was motivated by the implementation of the activity of moving homebase for permanent lecturers of foundations in the Palembang Region II Higher Education Service Institution. In order for the implementation of moving homebase activities for permanent lecturers to foundations in the Palembang Region II Higher Education Service Institution to run well, it must maximize the achievement of goals in accordance with the planned vision and mission. The purpose of this study was to determine the Foundation's Permanent Lecturer Homebase Moving Activities in the Region II Palembang Higher Education Service Institution. The method used is descriptive qualitative research method, for data collection techniques done by means of interviews, observation, documentation and data obtained in the field. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of moving the foundation's permanent lecturers' homebase has been going well. It can be seen through the theoretical indicators of Brigman and Davis, namely: input, process, output and outcome. Of these several indicators, there are some indicators that are still ineffective. The suggestions given are to make improvements to the facility system in order to facilitate the process of implementing employee work, assigning tasks according to their areas of expertise, distributing tasks more efficiently and effectively to facilitate the work of employees.
