Abstract

Mountain resorts are lodging and tourist accommodations with panoramic views and natural tourism potential. Especially in South Sumatra, Pagar Alam with an icon in the form of Dempo Mount is a favorite tourist destination. The natural and cultural potential in Pagar Alam has the potential to be developed into a destination as well as providing lodging and tourist accommodation. This resort uses a regionalism approach, in this case it is related to culture, natural conditions and local site locations. Pagar Alam is thick with Basemah's traditional history and culture, in the context of the famous architecture of the traditional Baghi house. The cool natural conditions coupled with the special panorama of the mountains are potential for tourism activities. The location of the site at the foot of Dempo Mount is also prone to earthquakes, becoming a challenge as well as a potential in designing this resort hotel.
