Abstract

This study aims to produce problem-based module teaching materials in thesubject matter of the PPKn to understand the position and function of Pancasila in first Gelumbang Junior High School that is valid, practical and has a potential effect on student learning motivation. The development method used is the method of developing the ADDIE Model which will be carried out by stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation (Tessmer formative evaluation, namely self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, small group evaluation, and field test) . The validity of the media is obtained from the results of validation by material experts, design experts, learning modules and linguists. Validation results by experts, the validity of learning materials including very valid categories with an average of 4.86. The validity of the design of the learning module includes a very valid category with a mean of 4.5 and the validity of the language including the very valid category with an average of 4.3. The practicality of problem-based modules in the one to one stage is 4.54 and in the small group stage 4.57 which is included in the category is very practical. Then from the results of field tests (field tests) conducted, that the problem-based module has a potential impact to improve student motivation in class VIII.3, as evidenced by the level of student motivation to obtain an average percentage of 80.8% which is included in the category high because with the interpretation criteria of the percentage score obtained the value of the high learning motivation range is at ≥62.5
