Abstract

This study aims to compare financial performance, precisely return on assets, gross profit margin, and total asset turnover between before using digital payment financial technology and after using digital payment financial technology for SMEs in Palembang. By using primary data types, the population in this study are all Palembang SMEs in well-known malls in the city of Palembang. The results of this study indicate that the use of digital payment financial technology has an impact on financial performance, especially return on assets, gross profit margin, and total asset turnover. Due to the limitations of the study, it is highly recommended to add respondents and other independent variables due to the limitations of the study.
