Abstract

Computerized technology in small and medium-sized commodity stores, such as Mamamia stores, is more practical to use than manual or written records. The website-based cashier application uses the codeigniter framework using the waterfall method, which aims to make it easier for users to process transactions such as calculating prices and the number of items purchased can be faster and the quantity of goods no longer depends on manual recording. Methods of data collection were carried out by means of observation and interviews with Mamamia shop owners and literature studies to support problem solving. Blackbox testing is used as a test method to get the results of software testing scenarios. Based on these results, the cashier application at Mamamia stores can be used to speed up the process of calculating sales transactions, printing payment notes, facilitating the process of managing item data and recording sales reports that are more accurate and reduce the risk of damaged reports.
