Abstract

Air is one of the important factors in the life of living things. But along with the increasing development in cities and industrial centers, air quality has changed. One of the pollutant substances, namely Particulate Matter (PM)10, is a particle that can be inhaled into the lungs and can cause adverse health effects. The data that will be used as a research reference is stored in a time series, where everything that is observed sequentially from time to time is a time series. One type of time-series modeling is the fuzzy time series. Various methods have been developed to build fuzzy relations on time-series data that have linguistic value to predict future values. Fuzzy Time Series Chen and Fuzzy Time Series Cheng are used in making predictions by comparing the results of the error values of each calculation. Using MAPE and RMSE, the results of the Fuzzy Time Series Chen error values are 110.5348% and 13.9064 while the error values using Fuzzy Time Series Cheng are 79.3024% and 12.3141.
