Abstract

This study aims to build and improve information systems management of consumable goods in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of South Sumatra Province. Today, inventory data of consumable goods managed by the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of South Sumatra Province is still using office applications. This causes difficulties in monitoring and determining the inventory of the goods to come. For the development of inventory information system of consumables is used FAST method. Then from these developments resulted in a website-based application built using PHP programming languages as well as MySQL as its data base. In the inventory section, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method is used as a reference in determining the inventory of consumables to come. The results obtained in this system is to help facilitate the leadership in overseeing the inventory of goods, reduce storage costs and determine the needs of consumable goods inventory based on EOQ method.
