Abstract
The vast working area of Manggala Agni Daops Sumatra XVII OKI coupled with high forest fires incidents makes fire personnel and management of Daops Sumatra XVII OKI must work effectively to improve performance, one way to improve personnel performance is to implement Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) to work activities in the field and on the management of Manggala Agni Daops office / headquarters, therefore, the purpose of this study is to see the influence of OSH on the performance of Manggala Agni Daops Sumatra XVII OKI personnel. The research design in this study is a quantitative association with survey methods, with a population of all Manggala Agni Daops Sumatra XVII OKI personnel and a research sample of 55 respondents. Through data analysis using the Bivariate analysis approach, the Simple Linear Regression Test obtained a work safety regression coefficient (X1) value of 0.576 with a sig value. 0.000, then for the regression coefficient value Occupational health (X2) of 0.833 with a sig value. 0.000, meanwhile, based on the results of multivariate analysis with multiple linear regression tests obtained the value of the regression coefficient of occupational safety variables (b1) = 0.324 and Occupational Health (b2) = 0.636) with a signification value of 0.000, so that based on the results of the analysis obtained that Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) individually and simultaneously affected positively and significantly affected the Performance of Manggala Agni Daops Sumatra XVII OKI Personnel. The advice that the author can provide for the improvement of occupational safety and health (OSH) implementation in personnel is to encourage the implementation of work and maintenance of work equipment and machinery in accordance with the SOP applicable to Manggala Agni, completing Fire Estinguisher in buildings and patrol/fire vehicles, the implementation of OSH training regularly, the implementation of routine medical checks up, physical sports activities regularly 3-5 times a week, and maintain the cleanliness of the workspace, including the bathroom and the availability of clean water to support personal hygiene personnel.
