Abstract

This research aimed to find: (1) The influence of the family environment on soft skills. (2) The effects of entrepreneurial learning on soft skills. (3) The influence of the family environment and entrepreneurial learning on soft skills. The research was an associative research with a quantitative approach. The variables in this research were family environment and entrepreneurship learning as independent variable, while the soft skills variable was the dependent variable. The amount of population in this research were 66 student from Economics Education 2019 who were active and had already taken the entrepreneurship course. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. As well as data analysis techniques using normality tests and hypothesis testing. The results of this research indicated that: 1) Economic Education students that included in the very good soft skills category were 10%, those that were that included in the good soft skills category were 32%, those that were that included in the quited good soft skills category were 41%, and those who included in the poor category were 17%. 2) There was a positive and significant influence of the family environment on soft skills. There was a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial learning on soft skills. There was a positive and significant influence of family environment and entrepreneurial learning on soft skills, Relative Contributions (SR) of the family environment by 77,79% and entrepreneurial learning by 22,21% on soft skills. Meanwhile, Effective Countributions (SE) of family environment variable was 21,40% and entrepreneurial learning was 61,09% for soft skills. The magnitude of the Effective Countributions (SE) of the two independent variables on the dependent variable on the dependent variable was 82,49% while the remaining 17,51% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
